A new extension has been granted for the submission of applications for State Student Financial Aid for the 2025–2026 academic year.
According to the Grants and Benefits Service (YXE) of the Ministry of Finance (YO), the deadline for submitting applications for State Student Financial Aid for the 2025–2026 academic year has been extended from Monday, October 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. until Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

During the review of applications, it was determined that in some cases the applications were not completed correctly, as they either remained in “Draft Application,” or were submitted by students despite the system’s relevant notifications and warnings, or were submitted to another department instead of the YXE.
Considering that citizens may face unforeseen and extraordinary circumstances, it is deemed appropriate to grant an additional opportunity to those who, for reasons that could not be foreseen or addressed in a timely manner, did not submit an application or did not complete the process correctly.
Consequently, in order to address the above cases and ensure the smooth completion of the required procedures, and to ensure that individuals who, for whatever reason, did not submit an application within the specified deadline, student families are requested to submit their applications electronically at https://sg-yxe.mof.gov.cy, in a timely manner and with accurate information.
Please note that this is the final extension, as several extensions have already been granted and no further extensions will be possible.
