Police are investigating a case involving the possession of child sexual abuse material, following the arrest of a 33-year-old man, which took place today.
The investigation began after information was received from EUROPOL indicating that a specific user of the GOOGLE platform was in possession of child sexual abuse material.

Subsequent investigations yielded evidence against a 33-year-old man, who was arrested today pursuant to a court warrant in the Larnaca district.
The suspect is expected to appear in court tomorrow for the purpose of issuing a detention order.
The Cybercrime Division is continuing its investigation.
