Specifically, on May 6, 2026, a report was filed with the police stating that, between April 28, 2026, and May 5, 2026, various power transformer components, two truck batteries, and an electric generator were stolen from a fenced-off EAC station in the Limassol district.
In another incident, on May 18, 2026, a report was filed with the police stating that, between May 16, 2026, and May 18, 2026, a large number of tools had been stolen from a company warehouse in the Limassol district.
The 36-year-old was arrested pursuant to a court arrest warrant and was brought before the Limassol District Court yesterday, which issued an order for his six-day detention.
