Following Omonia 29M and Parnassos in the men’s division and Mavrommatis Ag. Pavlos in the women’s division, it was the turn of E.N. Athinou and APOEL KN Ag. Trimithias to take the European stage, competing in the second round of the EHF Women’s European Cup.
First into battle will be last season’s double champion, E.N. Athenou, which will travel to Portugal to face C.J. Almeida Garrett. The two matches in this series will take place on October 9 (at 11:30 p.m.) and October 10 (at 9:00 p.m.), with the Athenou team facing a challenging European campaign.

This is a historic moment for APOEL KN Agia Trimithia, as it will compete in Europe for the first time and will strive for the best possible result, facing Kur from Azerbaijan, with the two matches scheduled for October 10 and 11, both on Azerbaijani soil at 4:00 p.m.
We remind you that Cyprus’s six-team representation in this year’s European competitions will be rounded out by Sabbianco Anorthosis, against whom AEK Athens was drawn, with the matches set for October 17 in Athens and October 25 in Cyprus.
