With the official opening ceremony held today, Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Allwyn’s offices in Nicosia, the Pan-Cyprian Association of Cancer Patients and Friends, PASYKAF, kicked off the 35th Pan-Cyprian Road Fundraiser as part of the “Together in Life” Awareness and Fundraising Campaign.
This year’s campaign holds special significance, as it coincides with the 40th anniversary of PASYKAF’s continuous presence, service, and substantial support for people living with cancer and their families.
The opening event was honored by the presence of the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Ms. Tina Pavlou, representing the President of the Republic, as well as other officials, Members of Parliament, party leaders, members of the media, and partners and supporters of PASYKAF’s work, to whom the Association extends its warmest thanks.
Allwyn’s Managing Director in Cyprus, Mr. Alexandros Davos, expressed the company’s pride in supporting PASYKAF’s 35th “Together in Life,” emphasizing that through the Allwyn Care program, the company remains steadfastly committed to organizations that do meaningful work for society. At the same time, he congratulated PASYKAF on its 40 years of service and called on the public to support the campaign and the Association’s important work.
The central theme of this year’s campaign is the message: “On the cancer journey, ‘here’ means something different for everyone.” “Here” can mean home care, physical therapy, transportation to treatment, pain relief, psychosocial support, or simply a presence, security, dignity, and hope. The Campaign highlights that the cancer journey is not the same for everyone and that each person has their own story, their own needs, and their own moments when they need support.
For PASYKAF, being here—for forty years now—means consistency, care, and a meaningful presence alongside people living with cancer and their families.
This year’s campaign aims to raise €550,000, so that the Association can continue to offer free services and programs to people affected by cancer and their families throughout Cyprus, as well as to continue developing prevention and research programs.
In 2025 alone, PASYKAF’s multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals responded to the needs of 8,763 individuals and their families, conducting 52,072 sessions throughout Cyprus. At the same time, the Association operates two Palliative Care Centers: PASYKAF – EDEM in the Larnaca district and PASYKAF – Archangel Michael in the Paphos district.
The Pan-Cyprus Street Fundraiser will take place from October 7 to 11 at various locations throughout Cyprus, including supermarkets, shopping malls, and department stores. Donations can also be made at PASYKAF offices, online via the pasykaf.org website, or via SMS to 7060 using the code PASYKAF 5, 3, or 1.
PASYKAF extends its warmest thanks to Allwyn “Proud Supporter” of this year’s Campaign, for its long-standing support and for hosting the official launch of the Road Fundraiser.
The public’s contribution is crucial to the continuation of PASYKAF’s services and programs. Every donation matters, as it translates into care, presence, support, and meaningful assistance for people living with cancer and their families.
PASYKAF warmly thanks everyone who supports the Campaign—the volunteers, partners, supporters, and the public—who, for yet another year, stand by its work.
We’ve been going strong for forty years… Together in life.
Because on the journey with cancer, “here” matters.
