A foreign national, who remains at large for the time being, stabbed a fellow Georgian with a drywall cutter at a construction site in Limassol, specifically in the Moutagiakas area.
According to initial reports, the assailant and the victim, both of Georgian origin and working at the construction site, shortly before 8 a.m., for unknown reasons, got into an altercation, and one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the arm and abdomen.
The victim was taken to a hospital, and at first glance, the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Immediately after the violent attack, the assailant fled the scene on foot and is currently wanted; police have cordoned off the area where the incident occurred and are conducting an intensive investigation.
