The European Climate Pact is a dynamic and open initiative of the European Commission, which serves as a central pillar of the European Green Deal. Essentially, it is a pan-European movement created to bridge the gap between political decisions and civil society.
The main role of the Pact is to give citizens a voice, tools, and a meaningful role, encouraging them to take active steps to protect the environment. It serves as a platform for networking and collaboration, informing and raising public awareness about the climate crisis based on scientific data. At the same time, it provides a common space for the exchange of knowledge and best practices, as well as for the development of innovative, local solutions, thereby supporting the European Union’s transition toward the goal of climate neutrality by 2050. In this effort, citizens and their communities play a crucial role by turning knowledge and awareness into action.

Application Process and Deadline
This call is open to people who want to take an active role in climate action and use their voice, knowledge, skills, or network to inspire others. You don’t need to be a climate expert. What matters is your willingness to take action and your intention to make a positive contribution to your community.
Applications are now open and will remain open until October 31, 2026; they are reviewed on an ongoing basis, so early submission is encouraged.
