"The Greece-Cyprus-Israel power interconnection project can move forward 'without making absolutely any concessions regarding our sovereign rights,'" was expressed by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Speaking on SKAI Radio, Mr. Mitsotakis referred to a “breeze” and “a slight ripple” in the waters of the Aegean Sea and added that “just as the weather changes and we have calm spells and occasional strong winds, the same is true of Greek-Turkish relations.”
Regarding the recent visit of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Athens, Mr. Mitsotakis noted that the excellent framework of Greek-American relations was reaffirmed. As he noted, “undoubtedly, the visit left a positive impression,” and he emphasized that “Mr. Rubio highlighted Greece’s role as an irreplaceable strategic partner in the Eastern Mediterranean.”
