Max Verstappen celebrated yet another victory in an F1 Sprint race, winning the Singapore Grand Prix, in a race marked by a fast pace, challenging weather conditions, and a series of accidents. The Red Bull driver capitalized on George Russell’s retirement in the first lap and maintained the lead until the checkered flag fell.

Torrential rain at Marina Bay delayed the start by half an hour, while inconsistent grip made conditions significantly more challenging for the drivers. Russell got off to a strong start, passing the Dutch driver, but lost control of his Mercedes in the final turn and crashed into the wall. Lewis Hamilton moved up to second place, with Charles Leclerc rounding out the podium for Ferrari.

The race was marked by numerous retirements, with collisions constantly reshaping the race dynamics. The most dramatic incident occurred on the final lap, when the two McLaren drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, collided while battling for fourth place. The Australian retired, while the Briton finished eighth, significantly reducing his points haul.

Fourth place went to Kimi Antonelli, followed by Liam Lawson, Oliver Berman, and Nico Hülkenberg. For Verstappen, this was his 14th victory in a Sprint race, reaffirming his dominance in this race format.
