Krista Pike, the death row inmate who survived her execution last week in the United States, has been discharged from the hospital and transferred back to prison, her lawyers announced.
“She continues to receive medical care in prison, and we will continue to monitor her recovery,” the lawyers stated in a press release, adding that Krista Pike is “grateful” to the medical teams “under these extraordinary circumstances.”
