Liverpool faltered after Grafenberch was sent off and ultimately suffered a heavy home defeat at the hands of Manchester City.
After the match, Bradley Barkola spoke to “Sky Sports,” discussing the Premier League and the challenge ahead of him, while also referring to the conversation he had with Iraola before deciding to join the “Reds.”
“The French league demands a lot of physical strength. But in the Premier League, I’d say the physical strain is greater in terms of the running you have to do. The intensity is very high. But that’s exactly why I came here. It’s a new challenge for me.
When I spoke with Iraola before signing, we agreed that I’d play on the wings, do what I do best, and play with a lot of pace. That’s why he believed I was a good fit for his team,” the French winger said.
