Imanol Alguathil, coach of Olympiacos, chose to post on social media the image presented by his team’s fans before the start of the derby against Panathinaikos—a snapshot from the past of the late Paraskevas Anza, alongside Sotiris Kyriakos.
The Panathinaikos FC statement on the matter reads as follows:

“Two worlds. There is no more fitting description to capture the stark difference in athletic and social values, in respect, and in the moral boundaries that govern the philosophy of the people at Panathinaikos and Olympiacos.
No one could ever imagine that the coach or any other official of Panathinaikos would post something like this, which, if nothing else, reflects the character, the mindset, and the views publicly expressed by people from both clubs.
Arrogance, disrespect, and “fanaticism” are neither a sign of “guts” nor an indication of superiority. On the contrary, they reveal a lack of basic institutional seriousness and an inability to distinguish the role of a professional from the behavior of a fanatic supporter.
Panathinaikos has learned to respect its opponents without fearing anyone. And above all, it knows that the true stature of a club is reflected (in part) in the way the people who represent it behave.
Two worlds, indeed. And the distance between them is chaotic.”
