What is the national weather service forecasting through friday?
ALPHANEWSLIVE

A weak low-pressure system is affecting the region, however, a low-pressure system centered over the Ionian Sea is moving southeast and will affect the region starting Wednesday afternoon.

Today, the weather will be partly cloudy with periods of local cloudiness, while isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected around noon and afterward, mainly in the mountains, the north, and inland areas. Gradually, by late afternoon, the weather will become mostly cloudy, with isolated light rain showers. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and in the afternoon along the windward coasts, they will be temporarily moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 28 degrees inland, on the southern and eastern coasts, around 27 degrees on the western and northern coasts, and around 19 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with isolated showers expected to develop gradually, particularly in the west and north, where isolated thunderstorms cannot be ruled out later on. Winds will be light and downslope, at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 18 degrees inland, around 21 degrees along the coast, and around 11 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with occasional local showers and isolated thunderstorms expected, particularly in the western half of the island. Hail is expected during thunderstorms, and winds are expected to shift and pick up. In the afternoon and thereafter, the weather is expected to deteriorate, initially in the west and gradually spreading to the rest of the island. These conditions may be intense or prolonged in some areas.

On Thursday and Friday, the weather will remain mostly cloudy, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms expected at times. Hail is expected during thunderstorms, and winds are expected to shift and strengthen.

Temperatures will gradually drop through Friday, falling below normal levels for this time of year.
