Kalamata made history at Toumba, defeating PAOK 3-1 and putting an end to a long streak without a home loss for the Thessaloniki team!
PAOK’s last home loss in the league came on February 2, 2025, when they lost 2-1 to AEK. Meanwhile, to find their last defeat at Toumba against a team outside the Big 5, we have to go back to September 2021, when PAS Giannina won 1-0.

Lisi: “I am solely responsible; our image is unacceptable”
As for the last time a team outside the Big 5 scored at least three goals and emerged victorious from Toumba in a league match, it was Atromitos, which on November 28, 2016, won by an impressive 4-3 score in a game in which PAOK had led 3-1.
Thus, Kalamata’s 3-1 victory was not merely a great result, but also a historic night for the Black Storm, which achieved something that hadn’t happened in nearly a decade at Toumba by a team outside the traditional giants of Greek soccer.
