AEK is ready for a week in England! The team gathered early this morning in Spata and then headed to the airport for their trip to London, where they will face (10:00 p.m.) against Shakhtar Donetsk at Stamford Bridge for the second matchday of the Champions League group stage.
Barnabas Varga is part of the squad and has a good chance of being available for Wednesday’s game. Also included are the players who were left off the European roster—Kaloskamis, Alexiou, Koutesa, and Georgiev, as “Enosis” will remain in England after the match until next Tuesday’s game against Manchester City.
