Who said a road race is only for those who love running? ALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE 2026 returns to Nicosia and promises a day full of fun, games, sports, and unforgettable family moments.
ALPHAMEGA Supermarkets are organizing this major celebration for the 11th year in a row; it’s not limited to road races, but has evolved into a full-fledged FUN DAY event where everyone is welcome.

Whether you plan to put on your running shoes and run or are simply looking for a fun outing with your family, kids, or friends, ALFAMEGA RUN AS ONE has something for everyone.
And the best part? You don’t have to participate in a race to enjoy the festivities!
Five routes for every age and fitness level
Whether you’re an experienced runner or just want to enjoy a different kind of day with your family and friends, ALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE 2026 has a route for you.
The program includes:
A 21 km half-marathon, starting at 7:30 a.m.
10 km Individual Run, starting at 8:30 a.m.
5 km Individual Run, starting at 11:00 a.m.
5 km Corporate Run, also at 11:00 a.m.
1K Fun Run at 12:00 p.m., for children and adults who want to join the celebration.
In fact, participation in the 1-km Run is completely free for children under 12, giving our young friends the chance to experience the joy of taking part. All participants will receive the event’s signature fluorescent orange T-shirt, as well as a commemorative medal.
A free Fun Park full of surprises for the whole family
The fun, however, isn’t limited to the race courses. From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the parking lot of the ALFAMEGA Hypermarket in Engomi will be transformed into a large Fun Park, with free admission and activities for everyone.
Young and old alike will be able to enjoy soccer and basketball games, inflatables, trampolines, flying elephants, toy cars, water boats, and many more surprises. A space filled with fun and smiles, where families will have the opportunity to spend quality time together while enjoying the festive atmosphere of the event.
Christina Christofi is preparing healthy treats for the children
No major celebration would be complete without beloved chef Christina Christofi, Brand Ambassador for ALFAMEGA Supermarkets. The well-known chef will be on-site, offering children delicious and healthy treats.
Through her presence, healthy eating meets great taste, reminding us that balanced dietary choices can be both enjoyable and creative.
“Children, Nutrition & Health”: The Important Purpose Behind the Race
The essence of the ALFAMEGA RUN AS ONE lies in its social character. The event is the flagship initiative of ALFAMEGA Hypermarkets’ Corporate Social Responsibility program “Children, Nutrition & Health,” whose primary goal is to promote a balanced diet and regular physical activity starting in childhood.
The program is implemented in collaboration with the Cyprus Association of Dietitians & Nutritionists, giving children aged 9 to 12 the opportunity to visit Association members free of charge.
During these visits, the necessary measurements are taken, and the children receive a personalized balanced diet plan tailored to their individual needs.
From 2016 to the present, thousands of children have gained access to this support, with the goal of preventing childhood obesity, providing nutrition education, and fostering healthy habits.
All proceeds from ALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE are allocated to further the program’s goals, turning every participation into an act of social contribution.
Awards and Prizes for the Winners
The event also includes awards for participants who stand out on the race courses. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the men’s and women’s categories in the 21-km Half Marathon, the 10-km Individual Run, and the 5 km Individual Run.
In addition, the top three companies in the 5-km Corporate Run will be honored.

9:15 a.m.: 21 km Half Marathon Awards Ceremony
9:45 a.m.: 10-km Race Awards Ceremony
11:45 a.m.: Awards ceremony for the 5 km Individual Run
12:30: Awards Ceremony for the 5 km Corporate Run

For children under 12 who wish to participate in the free 1K Fun Run, no pre-registration is required. They can register on the day of the event at the special registration center that will be set up on-site.
