New problems and questions for FIFA following the “Le Monde” revelation…
According to a report by the French newspaper, the International Federation of Association Football signed a lease agreement to rent office space in Trump Tower in the spring of 2025.
We’re talking about a total area of 450 square meters on the 17th floor of the building, at an annual cost in the six-figure range—specifically, approximately 420,000 euros— plus nearly 90,000 euros for renovations and maintenance!
According to *Le Monde*, however, no employees are permanently based there, and the space reportedly remains unused for most of the year!
FIFA, for its part, maintains that the price is in line with market conditions and adds that the lease complies with its internal procedures.
The agreement between the two parties covers a period of seven years and seven months, under a contract signed in May with Trump Tower Commercial LLC, a company chaired by Eric Trump, son of the U.S. President.
