An angry Mourinho: “No more excuses—we’re not fools.”
“We’re playing in Athens on Wednesday night, we’ll return to Madrid around 5 a.m., and then they’re making us play on Saturday in Valencia. That doesn’t seem innocent or fair to me at all. I don’t accept the usual excuses about TV rights. I’ve been in soccer too long to believe something like that. Enough with the excuses. We’re not fools. I’ll do everything I can to open people’s eyes,” Mourinho stated emphatically.
