The Ministry of Defense announces that today, October 15, 2026, a National Guard private, while performing cleaning duties near a guard post in the Faneromeni area, felt unwell and lost consciousness.
The incident was immediately noticed by National Guard personnel, who provided first aid on the spot and transported him by ambulance to the Apolloneio Private Hospital, where it was determined that he had suffered a cardiac arrest.
