A seven-month-old infant was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Corfu shortly before 1:00 p.m.
So far, the circumstances of the death remain unclear; however, it appears that the child had been at home with his parents earlier.

Dramatic scenes unfolded when parents and relatives, outside the hospital’s emergency room, were informed of his death.
The police are investigating the case.
