A week after the much-talked-about “four-party” meeting on the fifth floor of the Pindarou building and the decision by DISY President Annita Dimitriou to withdraw her candidacy for the party’s nomination for the 2028 presidential election, Averof Neophytou, former President of the Democratic Rally and a key player in the party’s internal process, called a press conference today.
It will take place at his political office in Nicosia at noon, and already, in journalistic “corridors” are already discussing the possible content of the press conference with great interest.

According to reports, the press conference cannot be unrelated to the developments of recent days on Pindarou Street and the fact that in ten days, DISY is scheduled to accept nominations for its internal party elections, which will take place in late November.
