A weak low-pressure system will affect the region until tomorrow, while a weak high-pressure system is expected starting Sunday, according to the Meteorological Department.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear in most areas, but temporarily increased cloud cover is expected to bring isolated showers along the coast, with the possibility of brief thunderstorms. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to westerly, light, and moderate—3 to 4 Beaufort—on the windward coasts. The sea will be slightly rough, but later, in the west and locally in the north, it will become rough. Temperatures will drop to around 14 degrees inland, around 19 on the western coast, around 17 on the rest of the coast, and around 9 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Tomorrow, periods of mostly clear weather will alternate with cloudy conditions, while isolated brief showers are likely, mainly in the mountains and along the western and northern coasts. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to westerly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, but will soon become locally strong, 5 Beaufort, in the south and east. In the afternoon, winds will be locally strong along the northern coasts as well. The sea will be slightly rough, but on the windward sides it will be rough. Temperatures will reach around 25 degrees inland and along the coast, and around 14 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Tomorrow night, localized showers are expected, mainly in the western half of the island but also along the rest of the coast. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to westerly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, but strong, 5 Beaufort, on the windward coasts. The sea will be slightly rough, but on the windward coasts it will be rough.

On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, the weather will be mostly clear, though locally increased cloud cover will occur at times.

Temperatures are not expected to change significantly, remaining slightly below average.
