Vinícius has been suspended for four matches for his red card in the game against Villarreal, after pulling an opponent’s hair.
This means he will also miss the Clásico on October 25; however, Real Madrid is trying to either reduce the player’s suspension or have it overturned.
And while the “Merengues’” appeal was rejected in the first instance, the Madrid club will persist in its efforts, believing that the punishment imposed on the Brazilian is excessive.
The team will also appeal to Spain’s Supreme Sports Court, hoping to achieve a favorable outcome.
