ALPHANEWSLIVE

Union Berlin was the first to threaten, with Van de Bos sending the ball just wide of Kobel’s near post. In a… lackluster first half, Dortmund had its first chance in the 23rd minute, when Maximilian Bayer attempted a right-footed shot from the left side of the box, but the ball went wide.

Meanwhile, in stoppage time of the first half, Enouaneri took a left-footed shot from the center of the box, but Frederik Renoff made the save. In the second half, Karetsas came on as a substitute for Dortmund, but the young forward had to leave the game in the 70th minute due to injury, with the score remaining 0-0 until the final whistle.

Meanwhile, Elversberg defeated Augsburg 4-2, continuing its frenetic run.

The home team was… relentless in the first half-hour, taking a three-goal lead by the 28th minute. First, in the fourth minute, Lukas Petkov saw Damen stop him from 11 steps out but then conceded the rebound for the 1-0 lead, while three minutes later, Lasse Ginder finished off a quick counterattack in textbook fashion, sending his shot into the top right corner.

The score became 3-0 in the 28th minute, when Ror outjumped everyone off a corner kick, the final score was set by Rieder from the penalty spot in the ninth minute of first-half stoppage time, and by Gregoritsch in the 76th minute from the same spot, and Smalte in stoppage time.

Huge road win for Mainz against Schalke

A great victory for Mainz at Schalke’s home stadium! The visitors managed to prevail over the “Royal Blues,” with Titsch’s 1-0 goal proving to be… golden, lifting his team into the top five and leaving the hosts in 14th place.

Mainz converted their possession against Schalke into a goal in the 24th minute, when Philipp Titsch found himself in a favorable position on the right side of the box and sent the ball into the net with a right-footed shot, with the visitors climbing to 5th place with 10 points.

Fulkrog saved Werder

Fulkrug, you’re a superstar! Thanks to two goals by the German international forward, Werder Bremen earned a point against Paderborn. The visitors scored twice in the first half-hour, but the forward equalized the match with two goals of his own in the 60th and 66th minutes.

Paderborn dominated the first half-hour in Bremen, scoring two goals within 12 minutes and putting the home team on the back foot. In the 18th minute, Stefano Marino found himself one-on-one with Hein, sending the ball from the right side of the box into the net for a 1-0 lead. The 2-0 came in the 30th minute, with Tigges going from playmaker to scorer by taking the shot himself and sending the ball into the center of the net.

Niklas Fulkrug, with an excellent volley following a give-and-go with Dinsk, pulled one back for the home team in the 60th minute, putting his team firmly back in the game, while six minutes later, he equalized from the penalty spot to make it 2-2, which was also the final score.
