There is a sense of relief regarding Emiliano Martínez’s condition following his serious injury in the Chelsea-Everton match.
The Argentine goalkeeper collided with Bradway and had to be carried off the field on a stretcher, causing serious concern. He was then taken to the hospital to undergo the necessary tests.
The initial reports, however, are reassuring. According to Argentine journalist Gastón Edul, “Dibu” is conscious, and the tests did not reveal any concerning findings.
Specifically, the CT scan of his head, as well as the examinations of his back and neck, came back clear. However, the international goalkeeper suffered a bone fracture in his jaw, resulting in his continued hospitalization for further observation.
