Milan has gotten off to a particularly solid start in this year’s Serie A under the guidance of Ruben Amorim. The “Rossoneri” have gone seven matches without a loss, with four wins and three draws, and remain among the teams contending for the top spots.
Milan has accumulated 15 points, with 14 goals scored and seven conceded, and sits in fourth place in the standings. Ahead of them are Inter and Lazio with 19 points, as well as Roma with 17, keeping the “Rossoneri” within striking distance of the top.
Their unbeaten run includes wins against Torino, Venezia, Lecce, and Atalanta, while Amorim’s team earned draws on the road against Juventus, Lazio, and Sassuolo. Their most recent victory came with a 3-2 win over Atalanta, in a match where Milan had to show character to maintain their unbeaten streak.
The first glimpse of the Amorim era shows a team that has achieved consistency in its results and manages to pick up points even on difficult road trips. The challenge now for Milan is to maintain this stability and further close the gap on the teams above them in the standings.
