A young Turkish Cypriot man in Limassol was reportedly the victim of a brutal beating by four individuals, though police note that no official complaint has been filed regarding the incident at this time.
According to reports, four Greek Cypriots allegedly beat a young Turkish Cypriot in Limassol and inflicted knife wounds on him. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery.

The apparent motive for the attack was a series of thefts of hunting dogs; the young Turkish Cypriot reportedly knew the perpetrators, leading the perpetrators to attack him and demand that he reveal their identities.
