The Cyprus League by Stoiximan Matchday 6 derby between Paphos and APOEL ended in a scoreless draw.
The “blue-and-yellows” came out strong and created several good scoring chances in the first half, but were unable to take the lead. Pedroso’s header in the 17th minute hit the crossbar, and the team also lacked the right final pass at crucial moments.

Paphos: It lacked substance – Attention on riga and… on pepe
APOEL was once again unable to celebrate its first away victory in the league this matchday, “returning” with one point from Paphos.
Meanwhile, the forced substitutions of Limnios and Carillo are cause for concern, with the latter experiencing discomfort. The extent of their injuries is expected to become clear in the coming days.
Now, the “blue-and-yellows” are turning their attention to… Sunday’s match at GSP Stadium against Omonia on May 29 (October 25 – 6:00 p.m.) , where they’ll be looking to get back on the winning track.
