Top chefs, renowned hotels, restaurants, and food service businesses are joining forces for a common cause: to support free preventive programs that protect children’s health from the earliest stages of their lives.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Cyprus Chefs’ Association, in collaboration with the Friends of the “Amerikos Argyriou” Center for Preventive Pediatrics “Amerikos Argyriou,” is organizing a special Gastronomic Evening as part of the annual “November—Preventive Pediatrics Month” campaign.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Old Limassol Harbor Square, featuring renowned chefs from Cyprus’s leading hotels and restaurants. This initiative combines culinary creativity with social contribution, with the goal of financially supporting the valuable work of the “Amerikos Argyriou” Center for Preventive Pediatrics.
Participating in this year’s event are the executive chefs from the Amara Hotel and Four Seasons Hotel, Wavemaker Hospitality (Atlantica Hotels), the Royal Apollonia by Louis Hotels, the Roe & Bone restaurant, Sodexo Cyprus Ltd, and La Galerie by Galactica Patisserie, who will create unique gourmet street food offerings for the public to enjoy. At the same time, Lounic is organizing a special free Loacker dessert workshop for the event’s young guests.
Through impressive live cooking demonstrations, chefs from the Cyprus Chefs’ Association will create original gourmet street food dishes right before the audience’s eyes, drawing inspiration from flavors and cuisines from around the world. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique culinary experience during an evening dedicated to creativity, collaboration, and giving back.
The Gastronomic Evening holds special significance, as all proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the work of the “Amerikos Argyriou” Center for Preventive Pediatrics, helping to ensure the continuation of the free prenatal and neonatal screening programs it offers throughout Cyprus.
For the past 38 years, the Center has been carrying out important work in the field of prevention by providing free prenatal and neonatal screening programs. To date, more than 815,000 preventive screenings have been conducted, contributing to the early detection of serious conditions and offering the children of Cyprus the opportunity for a healthier start in life.
