Revolut is experiencing a widespread technical issue on an international scale, causing its system to “go down” for many users. The company itself has officially confirmed a technical glitch affecting multiple services.
Specifically, when users try to log in to the app, the message “Something went wrong” appears, along with a prompt to try again later.
The issues include: inability to log in, problems with money transfers, and card rejections. Specifically, users are unable to send or receive money, and their cards are being declined during in-store payments.
Users are advised to avoid repeated attempts, as this complicates the resolution process.
It should be noted that in September 2026, Revolut confirmed a leak of sensitive personal data belonging to its customers. The company reported that a limited number of accounts were affected (680–700 customers, according to reports) and that its core financial systems or the bank’s funds were not compromised. In any case, the company’s rapid and significant growth appears to be causing disruptions in its systems.
Revolut’s
Response In a post on Reddit, Revolut confirmed that it is experiencing a technical issue affecting multiple services.
“We are currently experiencing an outage affecting many services. As a result, you may encounter issues accessing various features,” the company stated.
At the same time, it assured users that its technical team is working to restore service as soon as possible.
“Our engineering team is actively working to fully restore services as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the inconvenience,” it noted.
However, Revolut did not provide a specific timeline for restoration, leaving it unclear when users will be able to regain normal access to their accounts.
