Aris put on a great European performance on both offense and defense!
The “Yellows” crushed Rostock in Germany 110-79 and maintained their perfect record after the conclusion of the fourth round of the EuroCup.
The Thessaloniki team put on an outstanding offensive display, with their accuracy from the perimeter serving as their primary weapon, while also dominating the battle for rebounds, securing the victory with remarkable ease. They laid the groundwork for their victory early on, finding solutions on offense and capitalizing on the home team’s inability to limit their scoring. The 37-58 halftime score was indicative of the above.
In fact, the third quarter proved even better, as the “yellow-and-blacks” extended their lead even further, closing out the period at +32 (51–83) and turning the final quarter into a formality.
Robinson-Earl led Aris in scoring with 21 points, putting on an outstanding performance with 8-of-12 shooting from the field, while adding 10 rebounds, finishing the game with a double-double and a rating of 29.
Morgan’s contribution was also invaluable, as he scored 20 points, shooting 3-for-6 from three-point range and 9-for-9 from the free-throw line. Dimitrovic was close behind with 17 points and 4 assists, shooting 3-for-4 from beyond the 6.75-meter line, while Toliopoulos added 16 points, shooting 3-for-8 from three-point range.
Quarter scores: 20-29, 37-58, 51-83, 110-79
