According to reports, the suspects are five individuals from Syria who were arrested as part of the investigation into the case.
It is recalled that, while the couple was asleep, five hooded individuals broke into the house through an unsecured window and, brandishing knives and a gun, they tied up and gagged the 43-year-old man and ordered the 36-year-old woman to open the safe they had in the house.
From there, they stole 5,000 euros in cash and jewelry worth approximately 200,000 euros.
They then tied her up with duct tape, took the valuables, and fled.
The two Russians, aged 43 and 36, managed to free themselves and then alerted the police.
