Ángel García is lacing up his cleats once again and getting ready for his debut—as a starter—with APOEL!
The Spanish defender has played just 19 minutes so far with his new team, and on May 29 against Omonia, he’ll be in the starting lineup for the first time, partly due to the absence of Stafylidis.
Ángel’s experience and quality are undeniable, and the fact that he’s currently just a backup is perhaps… a luxury. This is something the “blue-and-yellows” lacked last year, since roster depth plays a decisive role throughout the season.
