Hadjiloucas Constructions actively supports technical excellence and the next generation of professionals in the construction industry through its participation as a Sponsor in the “Construction and Building Technology” at the 9th National Skills Competition, SkillsCyprus 2026, thereby substantially supporting an important institution dedicated to promoting technical excellence and professional skills in Cyprus.

The 9th National Skills Competition, SkillsCyprus 2026, will take place from October 29 to 31, 2026, at the Nicosia State Fairgrounds, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Cyprus. The event is organized by the Cyprus Productivity Center (KEPHA), a department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance.

The competition serves as an important platform for showcasing young people with technical and professional skills, giving them the opportunity to compete under real-world conditions, demonstrate their abilities, and compete for a spot on the National Team that will represent Cyprus at the next EuroSkills 2027 competition, which will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, in September 2027.

Investing in the skills that build the future

For Hadjiloucas Constructions, supporting SkillsCyprus is a natural extension of the company’s philosophy and its long-standing commitment to quality, expertise, and construction excellence.

The construction industry is constantly evolving, with technology, modern expertise, and specialization playing an increasingly important role. In this environment, developing skilled professionals and encouraging young people to hone their skills is an investment not only in the industry itself but also in the future of the Cypriot economy.

Hadjiloucas Constructions has chosen to specifically support the fields and sector of “Construction and Building Technology,” a field directly linked to the company’s core business and daily operations. This category encompasses a wide range of technical specialties that are an integral part of modern construction.

“Quality in construction is not merely the result of modern materials and technologies. Above all, it is the result of people with knowledge, skills, consistency, and passion for what they do,” says the Marketing Manager of Hadjiloucas Constructions.

“Through our participation as a sponsor at SkillsCyprus 2026, we want to help highlight young people who choose to invest in technical skills and become the new generation of professionals who will shape the future of the construction industry in Cyprus,” said Andreas Hadjiloucas, CEO of Hadjiloucas Constructions.
