Michael Carrick’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain, with the “Red Devils” management deeply concerned about the team’s performance following their latest heavy 4-1 loss to Como and already exploring alternatives for the coaching staff.
According to the BBC, the English coach is expected to be on the team’s bench as usual for Sunday’s match against Bournemouth, as he has not yet been informed of any impending change.
At the same time, there are club officials who believe Carrick deserves more time, pointing out that the constant coaching changes in recent years have not led to the desired on-field turnaround.
Although no final decision has been made regarding Carrick’s future, Manchester United has already begun considering potential replacements.
According to the BBC, Eddie Howe, Antonio Conte, and Julian Nagelsmann are open to the possibility of taking over as head coach of the “Red Devils.”
Meanwhile, Unai Emery and Fabian Hirtzler are also highly regarded by club officials.
