Aris: With Richards and the same formula for a third straight win

He is wrapping up his preparations for atromitos
ALPHANEWSLIVE

With morale high following two consecutive wins against Kifissia and Volos, Aris is wrapping up its preparations for tomorrow’s match against Atromitos at “Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium” for Matchday 8 of the Stoiximan Super League.

The “Yellows” are looking to extend their winning streak and secure their third consecutive three-point victory, with Michalis Grigoriou showing a willingness to once again rely on the lineup that has delivered the team’s recent results.

The most important news concerns Omar Richards. The English left back has overcome his injury, completed the full training regimen as usual, and is now available to his coach. His return provides an additional option at a time when the injury list remains long, with Laurent Moron and Giannis Gianniotas among the players who are still recovering and are not expected to play in the upcoming match.

Grigoriou’s training sessions indicate that there are unlikely to be any major changes to the starting lineup. Velio is expected to remain in goal, with Petric on the right side of the defense, Richards on the left, and Fabiano, Sutalo in the center of the defense. Racic and Hongla are the first choices in midfield, with Gare on the right and Bruma on the left, while in the 4-4-2 formation, the attacking duo is expected to be Kouamé and Kantevere.

The mood at Aris is clearly better after two consecutive positive results, but within the team there is an awareness that the same intensity and focus are needed against Atromitos. Grigoriou is opting for continuity, aiming to maintain the cohesion his team has shown in previous games and to take advantage of home-field advantage to solidify its upward trajectory.
