Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, one of Europe’s major hubs, canceled dozens of flights today due to the strong winds accompanying Storm Boelo.
The French News Agency (AFP) counted 90 flights canceled today on the airport’s website’s departures page, mainly to European cities such as Paris, Rome, and Dublin.
In addition, dozens of flights scheduled to land at the airport were canceled or delayed.
“Due to strong winds, fewer flights are expected to take off and land today, Sunday, October 25,” the airport stated.
It did not specify the exact number of flights that will be affected and has not yet responded to a request from AFP for further information.
