Angelos Papanikolaou is the new president of the EOK.
As announced at the Federation’s emergency board meeting, Papanikolaou was elected by a majority vote and will take the helm of the EOK following the resignation of Vangelis Liolios, who has been accused of match-fixing.

At the same time, significant changes are taking place in the composition of the Board of Directors, as four members have resigned, with alternate members Kelly Giannaki, George Antoniadis, Periklis Dorcofikis, and Bane Prelevic being called upon, in accordance with the bylaws, to fill the vacancies that have arisen; however, it is not yet known whether they will say “yes” to the positions that have “opened up.”
