ALPHANEWSLIVE

A low-pressure system is beginning to affect the region. Sparse dust may be suspended in the air at times.

Today, the weather will be partly cloudy and at times mostly cloudy, while isolated, mostly light, showers are possible. Winds will initially blow mainly from the northwest to the northeast at light speeds, 3 Beaufort, before shifting later to mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light and occasionally moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly choppy. Temperatures will rise to around 29 degrees inland, along the southern and eastern coasts, around 25 degrees along the western and northern coasts, and 20 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy and, at times, mostly cloudy. Winds will be mainly westerly to northwesterly, light and occasionally locally moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 17 degrees inland and along the coast, and to 12 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

On Tuesday, the weather will be partly cloudy, with isolated showers or thunderstorms expected mainly in the afternoon. On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms expected at times. On Thursday, these weather phenomena may be intense in some areas.

Temperatures will gradually drop significantly, falling below average seasonal values.
