The Cyprus Handball Federation Was Vindicated by the ADEA (KOH), as the sports court unanimously rejected, in its entirety, the appeal challenging the legality of the election of its President and Board of Directors. The decision affirms the institutional legitimacy of the administration, putting an end to a highly publicized legal dispute.

In a statement, the KOH expresses its complete satisfaction with the legal victory that restores the truth, thanking its Legal Counsel, Loizos Hadjidemetriou. As the Federation emphasizes, it is now proceeding unhindered with its plan to develop and promote the sport in Cyprus.

The announcement: “The Cyprus Handball Federation (KOH) welcomes with great satisfaction the issuance of the decision by the Supreme Judicial Committee for Sports (ADEA), which fully vindicates the CHF’s positions regarding the legality of the election of the CHF President and Board of Directors.

The ADEA, after evaluating all the evidence and our legal arguments, unanimously dismissed the plaintiffs’ baseless lawsuit in its entirety.

This development constitutes a significant legal victory, which not only vindicates the Cyprus Handball Federation, but also restores the truth and reaffirms our confidence in sports justice.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our legal team and, in particular, to the CFF’s Legal Advisor, Mr. Loizos Hadjidemetriou, for his exceptional, methodical, and thoroughly professional handling of the case from the very beginning.

The Cyprus Handball Federation continues its work uninterrupted to strengthen and promote the sport, with the same commitment to legality, justice, and ethics, now bolstered by this significant court ruling.”
