The European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF) and the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland (CGIUKI) are organizing the Annual Corporate Governance Conference for the second consecutive year on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the University of Cyprus (Kallipoleos area) in Nicosia.
In an environment of rapid technological, regulatory, and geopolitical changes, effective corporate governance has become a fundamental prerequisite for the resilience, accountability, and long-term success of organizations. This year’s conference brings together more than 20 distinguished speakers from Cyprus and abroad, highlighting the most significant challenges facing boards of directors and organizations today.

The program includes panel discussions on the role of the regulatory framework in corporate governance, artificial intelligence, the governance of family businesses, ethical leadership, the governance of public organizations, emerging risks, and future challenges in corporate governance. The conference will also feature the presentation of research findings on corporate governance conducted by the EIMF Center for Good Governance.
The keynote speaker at the conference will be Kevin Featherstone, Emeritus Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), who will deliver a speech titled “Governance Unplugged.” Participants in the discussions will include, among others, representatives of regulatory authorities, academics, board members, and senior executives from organizations in Cyprus and abroad.
Through this event, the EIMF is fostering dialogue on corporate governance in Cyprus by bridging the gap between academic knowledge, international experience, regulatory authorities, and professional practice.
