Continuing their long-standing support for the Cyprus Red Cross (K.E.S.), ALPHAMEGA Supermarkets presented the campaign “A Small Purchase, A Meaningful Contribution,” in which all ALPHAMEGA private-label products are participating.
The campaign will take place at all ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets from October 15 through November 4, 2026. As part of the campaign, a portion of the proceeds from sales of ALPHAMEGA private-label products will be donated by ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets to support the needs of the Cyprus(K.E.S.). In this way, ALPHAMEGA private-label products become vehicles for solidarity and generosity, helping to support our fellow citizens in need.

The Cyprus Red Cross (C.R.C.), Cyprus’s largest humanitarian organization, has been carrying out important and commendable humanitarian work for over 75 years, contributing daily to improving the quality of life for vulnerable individuals and families. Through its initiatives, it supports a dignified life and the social reintegration of vulnerable groups and families, defending human rights and human dignity without any discrimination.
On behalf of ALFAMEGA Supermarkets, the press conference was addressed by the Director of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at ALFAMEGA Supermarkets, Ms. Natasa Konstantinidou, who called on consumers to support the campaign and, by extension, the work of the Cyprus Red Cross (C.R.C.), by choosing ALFAMEGA private-label products.
In her remarks, she emphasized that “promoting human dignity, preventing and alleviating human suffering across the entire population must be a daily practice and responsibility for all of us.” At the same time, she congratulated the members and volunteers of K.E.S. for their ongoing contribution to Cypriot society, as well as for the important work they carry out, guided by love and solidarity.
On behalf of K.E.S., the President, Ms. Fotini Papadopoulou, who expressed her heartfelt thanks to ALFAMEGA Supermarkets for their long-standing support of the humanitarian work of the Cyprus Red Cross and emphasized that “the campaign ‘A Small Purchase. A Significant Contribution’ is a tangible expression of solidarity, underscoring that even a small contribution can make a real difference in the life of a fellow human being.” The First Vice President of K.E.S., Ms. Leda Koursoumba, spoke about the importance of the long-standing partnership with ALFAMEGA Supermarkets and the contribution such initiatives make to strengthening K.E.S.’s humanitarian work.
During the press conference, the event’s TV spot was also screened; it will be broadcast on television and shared on ALFAMEGA Hypermarkets’ social media channels throughout this period.
The “A Small Purchase, A Significant Contribution” campaign is part of ALFAMEGA Hypermarkets’ Corporate Social Responsibility program, reaffirming their strong commitment to social solidarity and support for organizations that carry out commendable work.
The press conference was attended by executives from ALPHAMEGA Supermarkets, members and volunteers of the Cyprus Red Cross, as well as media partners and representatives.
