As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives and its long-standing commitment to giving back to society, EKO actively supports the Cyprus Red Cross by donating 100 uniforms to the organization’s first aid volunteers.
The initiative took place on the occasion of World First Aid Day, which was observed on September 12, highlighting the importance of volunteerism, solidarity, and preparedness to respond to emergencies.
Through this sponsorship, EKO helps strengthen the work of the Cyprus Red Cross volunteers by supporting their presence and activities in the community. At the same time, it recognizes their invaluable contribution to protecting human life and providing assistance to those in need.
To mark World First Aid Day, the Cyprus Red Cross organized awareness-raising events and practical demonstrations in Nicosia and Larnaca, giving citizens the opportunity to learn basic first aid techniques and understand the importance of responding correctly to emergencies.
EKO’s support for the Cyprus Red Cross is part of its broader Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, which focuses on people, health, and safety. Through initiatives with a meaningful social impact, the company seeks to actively contribute to the well-being of citizens and to support organizations that carry out important social work.
True to its values, EKO continues to invest in initiatives that promote social responsibility, solidarity, and giving back, supporting those who are on the front lines every day in helping others.
