The Cyprus Wushu Kung Fu Federation announces the organization of the program “China-Cyprus Sports and Cultural Exchange in Cyprus,” which will take place from June 29 to July 5, 2026, in Nicosia.

The program is organized by the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO), the Cyprus Wushu Kung Fu Federation, and the Confucius Institute at the University of Cyprus, with the aim of promoting Chinese martial arts culture and strengthening bilateral cultural exchanges between Cyprus and China in the field of Wushu.

Through the program, participants will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the philosophy, values, and practice of Wushu, an important aspect of Chinese cultural heritage. The training aims to help participants understand how Wushu contributes to improving physical and mental health, self-confidence, and self-awareness.

Classes will be held daily from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a lunch break from 12:00 to 14:00.

The program will be hosted at the University of Cyprus, on Panepistimiou Avenue, Aglantzia, Nicosia.

Three renowned coaches from China will participate in the program: Ms. Liang Xiaokui, Mr. Wei Xin, and Mr. Chen Hongxing, all of whom have significant experience and have earned distinctions at both the international and national levels, thereby making a substantial contribution to the transfer of technical expertise, experience, and cultural knowledge to the participants.

The Cyprus Wushu Kung Fu Federation expresses its particular satisfaction at participating in an initiative that strengthens the bonds of friendship, cooperation, and cultural exchange between Cyprus and China, while also promoting Wushu as a means of physical activity, education, and personal development.
