A major two-day scientific conference highlights Minthis as a premier destination for conferences, professional events, and corporate meetings.
The Minthis Resort in Paphos recently hosted the first meeting of the Cyprus Society for Hand Surgery, bringing together distinguished medical professionals from Cyprus and abroad for a two-day event dedicated to education, knowledge sharing, and scientific collaboration.
The meeting, held on September 26 and 27, marked a significant milestone for hand surgery in Cyprus, offering specialists the opportunity to exchange experiences and expertise and learn about the latest developments in their field, while enjoying the unique setting and hospitality of Minthis.
A highlight of the scientific program was the participation of the internationally renowned Canadian hand surgeon, Professor Don Lalonde, who shared his many years of experience with the WALANT surgical technique, tendon repair, and the functional anatomy of the hand. The meeting was also attended by distinguished members of the Cypriot medical community, who presented topics related to flap surgery, hand microsurgery, peripheral nerve disorders, and the management of fractures and dislocations of the hand and wrist.
In addition to the scientific program, participants had the opportunity to explore the natural landscape of Minthis and enjoy their stay at the resort. The time spent outside the official agenda provided opportunities for discussion and the development of new professional connections.
“It was a great pleasure for us to host the Cyprus Society of Hand Surgery for this important inaugural meeting,” said Minthis General Manager Stelios Philippides. “Events like these highlight what we can offer beyond just a conference venue. Our goal is for every professional event to be accompanied by quality hospitality and experiences that foster communication among people.”
In the wine-producing region of Paphos, with deep roots in Cypriot tradition and the area’s cultural heritage, Minthis is a unique choice for conferences and corporate meetings. The modern facilities, the aesthetically pleasing accommodations, the culinary offerings, and the wellness facilities allow organizers to design programs tailored to the needs of each event.
The successful two-day event highlighted Minthis as a destination that offers the space and time for new ideas, creative discussions, and meaningful human connections.
