On Saturday, July 4, local businesses are joining forces to organize the charity street party “ROCKING AUTISM” on Pargas Street in Nicosia, at the Municipal Parking Lot, outside True Heart Café, Moondogs, CoffeeHouse, and Karma Fitness. All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the nonprofit organization Voice for Autism.
The music starts at 6:00 p.m. with bands and DJs who will entertain the crowd until midnight. The headliners of the evening will be HERMAPHRODITE’S CHILD from Athens, who will take the audience on a journey back to the golden decades of the ’50s and ’60s through the greatest hits of Rock ’n’ Roll. Featuring hits by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, Elvis Presley, and Chuck Berry, as well as beloved Greek songs by Paschalis & The Olympians and other artists, the band promises an unforgettable evening filled with live music and dancing.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Nicosia, Nostalgia Parties, and Cloud10 Music Agency, and guests will be able to enjoy food and drinks from Moondogs, True Heart Café, and CoffeeHouse.
All net proceeds will go to Voice for Autism to support its valuable work, including through the operation of True Heart Café, the first social enterprise in Cyprus that provides employment to 18 individuals on the autism spectrum.
The evening promises to be a family-friendly and inclusive event, open to everyone.
Minimum admission fee: €5.
Children under 12: Free admission
The event’s MAJOR sponsors are the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation and Exinity, whose generous support makes this event possible.
