Manchester Police have launched an investigation following the death of a man in his 30s on a flight from Larnaca to Manchester.
A police spokesperson confirmed the man’s death, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, which occurred during the flight from Larnaca to Manchester.
According to reports, the flight took off late Sunday night and landed early Monday morning. Police said they are investigating reports that the man had behaved “aggressively and in a disruptive manner” during the flight, and that the pilot had requested priority for landing.
According to the same source, police officers who boarded the aircraft after landing found the man in serious condition. The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
As noted, at 2:25 a.m., authorities were alerted to a reported attack aboard the flight from Larnaca. Police officers who arrived at the aircraft found the man unconscious and administered first aid, including CPR, before transporting him to the hospital.
