Alarm in Paphos in the early morning hours following a bomb explosion. Specifically, at around 3:15 a.m., a report was received of an explosion in a car owned by a 56-year-old man, which was parked on Santorini Street in Paphos.
Subsequent investigations determined that the explosion was caused by a low-power improvised explosive device.

The explosion caused extensive damage to the car, as well as damage to a second vehicle that was parked nearby.
The investigation will continue by members of the Paphos CID at first light.
