The shocking incident that occurred earlier in an apartment building in Egkomi turned into a tragedy, when a four-year-old boy apparently slipped past his parents’ attention and fell from the sixth floor of the building.
The child was rushed to the trauma unit at Nicosia General Hospital in critical condition, where he passed away early in the evening.

According to reports, the four-year-old boy, under circumstances that are under investigation, fell shortly after 6 p.m. from a closed balcony at his home from a height of approximately 20 meters.
As soon as the father realized what had happened, he called an ambulance, which picked up the unfortunate child, who was critically injured.
The family of four, of African descent, is devastated following the tragic accident.
