The testimony of a man who claimed that, immediately after the tragedy, he pulled two bodies from the water with his own hands caused a stir at the port of occupied Kyrenia.
As reported on the Alpha News program by Alpha correspondent Hatice Kerlo, this is a man who came forward and stated: “I single-handedly recovered two bodies immediately after the tragedy.”

Following his statement, the so-called police took him in for questioning, as the names of the two individuals he claims to have recovered dead do not appear to be on the list of confirmed victims released by the so-called authorities.
The witness said that the man appeared to be about 30–35 years old and the woman 40.
